Orlando Castaneda, starting at the age of 10, has over 60 years of musical experience. He completed his musical education at Mt.SAC and Cal Poly Pomona. He’s had private studies under music legends such as: Gary Foster, Bill Green, Warren March, Eddie (Lockjaw) Davis, Gary Herbick, and Ed Lowe.

For over 50 years Orlando has given private lessons on woodwind and brasswind instruments. And has taught 3 years in the California public school band programs.

In 1988 he opened a music repair shop where he imported and designed musical instruments. The shop has become a retail location for service and sales of musical instruments and their accessories. Lessons have been offered at his location to chosen students who want to be the head of their class and make music a career.

Orlando teaches with the belief that a student should learn to understand and enjoy music through their instrument!
